Hylane Pembroke
Welsh Corgis

I have the great pleasure of living with, what I consider, the best breed of dogs in the world - Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Corgis are intelligent, fun loving, hard working little dogs who are often referred to as “big dogs in small packages”. Originally bred for herding cattle and sheep in Wales, these dogs love a variety of activities. They excel at herding, agility, obedience and tracking and love any kind of activity you want to do with them!

Meet EDDIE (Highland Prince Edward AD OA OAJ O-OAC O-OJC O-OGC CGC) was my first Corgi. He was a delightful companion and was also my first agility dog. He was a sable Corgi and very handsome as well as a unique character. Eddie earned his Open Championship agility titles at AKC events and his Outstanding Open Championship titles in NADAC, as well as his AD in USDAA agility. My sweet Eddie went to the Rainbow Bridge on January 3, 2007 and has left a very empty space in my heart. Sleep well, sweet boy.

This is WHITNEY (Tartan Dancin in the Moonlite HSAd AX AXJ PDI EJC EAC OGC TDI RN CGC). Whitney is my “heart dog”. She is competing at the Excellent level in AKC and NADAC agility and earned both her HT and PT herding titles in 2002 and earned her Herding Started title on ducks in January of 2005. We are starting to train for her CD in obedience and Rally obedience competition in hopes of earning her a well deserved Versatility Championship for earning titles in 3 different performance competitions. On the side, Whitney does therapy work at our local senior care center. She loves to go and visit the sweet people there and literally drags me from one room to the next to go and visit. She rarely fails to put a smile on everyone’s face. Whitney has enthusiasm for everything she does and is incredibly willing, intelligent and very sweet natured. She had a beautiful litter of puppies in February of 2002 and was as good a mother as you can wish for. She was bred to CH Summithill Gingerbread Man OA OAJ and produced 4 beautiful, healthy puppies (2 girls and 2 boys). I kept one of the boys, Rudy, (CH Hylane Riddler’s Nite Out HSAs NJP CGC) who turned into a beautiful and talented boy.
